ITINERARY
Day 1
Arrive at Varadero Juan Gualberto Airport (VRA) and meet your airport transfer (included)
The transfer will bring you to the pickleball court or your Casa guest house where we will be waiting for you if not traveling together
Settle in, grab lunch and enjoy some free time to explore the main strip and beach area
We will have a welcome meeting in the late afternoon where you’ll meet the your new pickleball friends on the trip followed by open play with your new friends and local Cuban players
Join the group for an optional dinner and drinks to complete the day
Day 2
Enjoy breakfast (included) at your Casa to kick off the day
Meet at the court for a warm-up and a structured drill clinic to help improve your game
As the day gets hotter enjoy the midday by grabbing lunch and some free time to explore and enjoy the beach. You may want to visit the excursion tour shop to see what day trips are available for your free day (Day 5).
Meet back at the courts for open play with guests and locals
Join the group for an optional dinner and drinks to complete the day
Day 3
Enjoy breakfast (included) at your Casa to kick off the day
Meet at the courts and get picked up in a beautiful vintage car that will drive to us to Havana
When we get to Havana we will have the opportunity for a guided walk to explore the streets of Old Havana
We will grab lunch and have free time to self explore, do some shopping or grab a drink on a patio in Plaza Vieja
In the afternoon we will say farewell to Havana and ride the vintage car back to Varadero
If time permits, we may have time for some pickleball or you may decide to use the free time to enjoy the sunset on the beach

Day 4
Enjoy breakfast (included) at your Casa to kick off the day
Meet at the court for a warm-up and a structured drill clinic to help improve your game
As the day gets hotter enjoy the midday by grabbing lunch and some free time to explore and enjoy the beach
Meet back at the courts for open play with guests and locals
We will also review videos of our clinics and open play to help further breakdown opportunities for skill and strategy improvement
Join the group for an optional dinner and drinks to complete the day
Day 5
Enjoy breakfast (included) at your Casa to kick off the day
Today is your free day! You can do a day trip excursion, decide to explore Varadero on a hop on/hop off bus tour of Varadero, hit the Varadero Golf Course or rent a beach chair and enjoy the sun and water!
You will also have access to the pickleball courts if you want to play some games
For those that would like we will have open play in the evening as well or you can enjoy the amazing Varadero sunset (highly recommend)!

Day 6
Enjoy breakfast (included) at your Casa to kick off the day
Today is tournament day!!
We will kick off the day with either a drills clinic or open play to get us warmed up!
As the day gets hotter enjoy the midday by grabbing lunch and some free time to explore and enjoy the beach
Meet back at the courts for the tournament! This will be a fun structured tournament that will match you up against other guest and local players.
Final dinner with the group that will include prizes for the winners!
Day 7
Enjoy breakfast (included) at your Casa before your day of travel
We will check out of our Casa and have the airport transfer (included) take us to the airport before our flight home
Arrive back home and say farewell to the group!

Will need to purchase internet card for the trip which can be used in Wifi zones in Varadero. We can help you purchase this on the trip near our accommodations.

Yes. Accidents or medical emergencies do happen. You are responsible for your own coverage.

Vegetarian options are available on the trip. Vegan and gluten-free can also be accommodated but will need to be organized. Please contact us if you have any restrictions.

They will accept USD. Cuban Pesos can also be used but need to be exchanged in Cuba. CAD is not accepted everywhere and has limited places to exchange for Cuban Pesos.

This is similar to a Bed and Breakfast where each Casa will have 3-5 private rooms that include private bathroom and air conditioning.
